Speaker Biography - Gerry Kutney (Prince George, BC)

CEO, Alterna Energy Inc.

Gerry received his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Toronto. He began his business career in research and marketing management with the Forest Products Division of ICI Canada . He then worked as an executive and Officer of the Company of Tembec, where he directed the Chemical Products Group, which manufactured and marketed value-added products from pulp mill by-products. Gerry was also CEO and president of a new-technology venture company. He is now the Chief Operating Officer of Alterna Energy Inc. Alterna Energy is a biocarbon manufacturer for renewable energy production and carbon products.
