Speaker Biography - Garth Thoroughgood (British Columbia)

Bioenergy and Renewables Branch of the Electricity and Alternative Energy Division, Government of British Columbia

Garth Thoroughgood graduated from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario in 1993 (BSc in Natural Sciences) and 1994 (BA). He has been with the BC Government since 1996 and has held positions with the Ministry of Forests, the BC Environmental Assessment Office and the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources.

Garth works in the Bioenergy and Renewables Branch of the Electricity and Alternative Energy Division and is currently working on implementing the B.C. Bioenergy Strategy.
