Speaker Biography - Irene Coyle (Ottawa, Ontario) Research Engineer, Biomass Conversion Group, CANMET Energy Technology Centre
Since joining CETC-O Ms. Coyle has carried out research on a carbon capture and sequestration roadmap, combustion additives, gaseous fuel co-firing and biomass fuels. Ms. Coyle is currently responsible for research in the areas of biomass combustion and emissions and oversees pilot plant facilities ranging from 1 MWth grate and fluidized bed furnaces to residential appliance test cells. She is currently working on combustion performance and emission characterization of agricultural and urban residues in both "raw" and "pelletized" forms. |
