Speaker Biography - Martin Kincade (BC)

Project Manager, Power Acquisitions, BC Hydro

Martin is a member of BC Hydro’s Power Acquisition team, the group responsible for acquisition of power from the private sector and the management of the resulting long-term energy purchase agreements. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Mechanical Engineering) from UBC, as well as a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business. Prior to joining BC Hydro, Martin spent 12 years in the forest industry working in a variety of operations and marketing roles for MacMillan Bloedel, Weyerhaeuser and Interfor. Currently, Martin is the project manger for the BC Hydro Bioenergy Call.
